Seasonic 520W M12II-EVO Noise

I just received my new Seasonic 520w M12II-EVO to replace my old Corsair CX600M with a rattling fan.

I read that the M12II-EVO should be quiet but mine makes a weird buzzing or humming noise when idle. I can't really make up if it's electric or the fan.

It's not really loud but it is annoying. Under load it makes a electrical buzzing noise similiar to the old Corsair. Is the idle sound normal or am i going to have to RMA it

That noise would be coil whine. Mind sharing a video of the culprit in action? You may also want to share your full system's specs as well as the OS. Are you absolutely certain it's coming from the PSU?

I tried recording it but it couldn't be heard in the recording. I am certain that it's from the PSU since the sound only started today after i installed the new PSU.

My system specs are:
