Seasonic dropping prices?

Just wondering what's up with the price drops on Seasonic PSUs.

I know that for the longest time the M12 II 620w was like 75 bucks and I just noticed during a build that it had dropped to 39.99. Anybody hear anything about Seasonic dumping models off? This will obviously become my most recommended PSU if this is accurate and stays that way.

That was a Shell Shocker deal, yesterday, from 3p.m.- 5:59p.m. Pacific Time. some times they stay at the lowered price for a few hours afterward. Was one Heckuva deal, for sure !!!

PCPartpicker and Newegg should arrange a method of not including those kinds of deals in the pricing that is reflected on the build site. It's probably not that often that people order their parts at the exact time they create a build and then when they go back later and find something has changed that dramatically it makes the accuracy of the utility look faulty.

If you go to create a build and find that, wow, the price is much less than expected, great, but going the other way could be upsetting to some of our "guests".

I realize, they're not going to change this, but it would seem to be more user friendly.

I hadn't thought of that, but you are very correct. I would be ticked off to find I had to pay 20-50 dollars more and hour or two later.
