I just wanted to post this for people to see and to punish Seasonic. I am sick of poorly manufactured crap. It's like any electronic you buy nowadays is all screwed to hell before you even get it.

To be fair, Seasonic had me back up an running after 5 days (2 of the days were weekend days). And they sent the new one before I even sent the old one back.

But seriously, why is everything so dodgy these days? Dead pixel monitors, melting/freezing/just not working action cameras, exploding power supplies, UPS's that go to crap after only a few months, Blu Ray players that you can't even use to their full potential because they are purposely limited from the factory... I mean, why, why must things be this way?

Just to put this out their. You can get a bad part form any manufacture even if it started out good when they made it. It gets shipped, stocked, pulled to ship, then who knows how it's treated by UPS or FedX.

Why would you keep turning it on risking all your PC parts just to make a video of as you stated the biggest spark you could get.
The real punishment would of been if you fried all your parts like you deserved to.

Here is a good one to watch.

I didn't deserve to fry anything. There is no excuse for an exploding power supply. Plus I figured the parts were all fried anyway. So I wasn't really expecting everything to be fine.

Have any of you noticed that Amazon tends to sell more defective electronics than anyone else? This PSU came from Amazon. Seems like if I buy stuff from other places it's usually fine, but for some reason anything electronic from Amazon is almost guaranteed to fail.

DOA happens. Even with the good manufactures like Seasonic you can get DOA parts it just happens alot less often. Why punish Seasonic? 3 business days is an excellent RMA time considering the average RMA time I see for parts is ~2 weeks.

I purchase most of my parts from Amazon and Newegg and have had no such issues. IF you are constantaly having problems with electronics in your house you may want to check your houses eletricaly system as it may have problems(poor/ nonexistent ground, spikes or surges in power) that could be causing the failures.

Yeah, I wanted one that worked. Simple as that. There is no excuse for this crap in 2018. I mean... this is the future we're in here now and all that...

Oh, and as for the wiring issue, most of the stuff I have had fail has been battery powered, so it definitely isn't a wiring issue.
