I see some nice discounts on Seasonic Focus/Prime PSUs these days. Then I remember the high current tripping problem reported early this year (mainly with 3090 GPUs). Then I see some discussions about how RMA's Seasonic PSU's manufactured after 2020/12 don't trip anymore with 3090...

SeaSonic Focus GX has 4 variant versions.

I've got v2 which is ATX2.x and SeaSonic support confirmed this version has issues with RTX30 series.

But they claimed that the issue was fixed in Focus GX v3 which is ATX3.0 variant.

Anyone can confirm that Focus GX v3 has fixed the RTX30 shut down issue? So I can safely buy it?

Yes, the newer versions corrected this issue.
