Seasonic G-series vs FOCUS Gold?

I am considering a 550w PSU for a new build. I originally settled on the Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro

because I built systems about 20 years ago and had great luck with Antec in general. But everyone raves about Seasonic, so I started looking at them, but I cannot tell the difference between the FOCUS Gold and G-series, other than the FOCUS has a 7-year warranty and the G has a 5-year, and the G-series has "FCC" and "RCM" listed under its Safety and EMC section. Now, as far as I can tell, FCC and RCM are regulatory compliance standards for the US and Australian markets, respectively, so I'm not really concerned that the FOCUS is dangerous because it may be lacking the FCC stamp. Or it could just be that whoever entered the information on their website, forgot to enter it.

So, is the only major difference the warranty period (and possibly the quality of the parts by implication)? They're both within the same price range.

that antec is great, however alot of their units( hvg, neo eco) are build by seasonic , and than they label it antec , like some units from evga corsair.

the focus is the newest lineup from seasonic along with prime ( 10-12 year warranty) which is really rare for that price.

I would get the antec, its pretty original 😀

So you think that Antec is really Antec? *chuckle*

It's actually Seasonic unit with Antec sticker on it.

Seasonic are golden standard PSU manufacturers, I suggest you get stuff directly from them, not some partner that uses their stuff anyway.
