Hi, i recently bought a red LED strip from hand to hand, i don't know the brand or anything. So i installed it, plugged it in with MOLEX connector to PSU and the computer booted up, i logged in to the windows and then the whole computer froze. The cursor didn't move and any presses on keyboard didn't do anything. So i had to hold my power button down on the case and the pc shut down, i pressed it once again and the pc just turned on, and off, on and off. Now i got it back working after 2h of messing, removing the PSU cord and plugging it back in. So my question is, is the LED Strip causing this problem?

PC specs:
CPU - i5 8500 @4,1GHz
CPU Cooler - be quiet! Dark Rock 4
MoBo - MSI B360 Gaming Plus
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Gaming 8G
RAM - 16GB Adata XPG Gammix D10 @2666MHz
SSD - 480GB Kingston A400
HDD - 500GB Seagate Momentus 5400RPM
PSU - SeaSonic M12II Bronze 620W Fully Modular
Case - CM MasterBox Lite 5 RGB

Solution
I think that the only way the LED strip could cause a problem is if it drew enough current where it would put your PSU voltage out of spec.

I think this would be unlikely with a properly functioning LED strip because they draw little current but it's possible.

...or if the LED strip is somehow damaged.....that could cause it.
