I am in a need for assistance regarding Seasonic PSUs Prime PX 750w and TX 750w

As per PSU tier list,
Prime PX 750w lies in Tier A, meanwhile Prime TX 750w lies in Tier A but for low priority units is that right? even it is supposed to be a higher grade and more efficient and the best is to go with PX 750w, i am a bit confused.

Would appreciate much soonest assistance as i am in the middle of finalizing purchase deal.

Thanks,,

The low priority designation indicates it is still a good PSU, but had minor issues. Of the two, I would go with the PX version. Rock solid PSU.

However, both are more than enough to meet your needs and will last for years.
What are you trying to power with said PSU purchase and what sort of use cases scenarios are you looking to tax the system with(workloads)?
I have did already enough search concluded to go with one of these and due to available at my market, but really do need help regarding tier list of TX 750w.

Morever below PC and are mostly for gaming:
CPU : Intel i7 14700K
GPU : Gigabyte RTX 4060 OC 8G
Motherboard : ASUS Prime Z790-A Wifi
Case : XPG STARKER

Thanks for reply.

Also with that statement for low priority units "Not recommended for purchase over any normal priority units."

The thing is that I have both of them for some reason in about the same price, but I guess I will stick as per recommended in the list with PS 750w.

Good choice. I have used both PX and TX versions. You won't be disappointed either way. There is no bad choice between the two of them.

Prime PX-750w is a Focus PX inside and you pay a premium for a 2 year extra warranty.
Prime TX-750w has shut down issues with recent GPUs.
Seasonic cut some corners on quality with those PSUs. 40 degree rating instead of 50 degree, 18AWG PCI-e cables and mini fit connectors instead of 16AWG andbheat resistant HCS connectors, Fan control without hysteresis, only rudimentary and TX has a tikking fan. If you can get your hands on a high-end ATX3.0 unit like the Asus ROG Strix Aura 750w for a comparable price it wouldbe a much better choice.

While these things may be true, both Seasonics, as requested by the OP, will more than meet his needs and should have zero issues supporting his system.

There are always other (better) options, but up to the OP to determine if he wants to consider other options or not.

Read my edited post.
Thanks though.

As stated earlier, both are good PSUs. You really have nothing to worry about with your choice.

I did proceed with PX 750w and expected to receive it by tomorrow inshallah.

by the way OP means Overall Power ?

Hydro G Pro GEN5 is a better unit than Prime PX/TX. The unit has no issues at all and is built with high quality parts includes the cables, connectors and fan. Besides that it can handle power spikes a lot better.

Excellent PSU. Should serve you very well.
I did already get it home with me, Thanks for your replies and comfortable comments appreciating your quick response.
