I'm shopping for Black Friday, and currently I'm stuck scratching my head over three models that I know are all very good. So I'm hoping someone with more personal experince with the items or perhaps more intricate technical experince could recommend a winner here for me.

My last, and current, PSU was a Seasonic S12D Silver, which I've had since 2010 over two builds. So for that reason I'm partial to that brand, though I'm not against recommendations of other brands.

Conteders:
Seasonic FOCUS Platinum, at $144

Seasonic Prime Ultra Gold, at $144, $129 after rebate

Corsair RMX Gold, at $129

The fact I've used my last PSU for 9 years makes me feel the Platinum would provide a little bit of savings vs a $20 cheaper gold, so I'm leaning towards that right now.

But the Primes have outstanding reviews, and an additional 2 year warranty to make me think the model may simply be a better purchase along with its lower cost ATM.

In additional to hearing very good things about the Corsair, I've included that, assuming the golds end up being a recommended choice I'd be interested to know if the Prime is simply better than the RMX.

Thank you for your time, and if you have another recommendation, my system setups typically run around a 750w recommendation, so I tend to shoot for 850+ w PSUs.

I would go for the prime as it is the superior platform of all of these and it has the longer warranty , efficiency is a little tricky and heavily dependent on your usage scenarios , most systems spend most of their time in the idle or low load status where the power draw is less than the 10% of the PSU capacity at which a PSU operate at an efficiency level that is lower than their rated one so having platinum over gold wont affect your power consumption as much as you would imagine even on the long run
