For start, going for Seasonic brand there is no way to go wrong.

Now, about serie, well, M12II its a Modular one, the other one is Silent. Pick whatever you like and you feel confort with it.

Personal oppinion is go to Modular, you can plug any cables you need and the other unplug it and use it when really it needed.

m12ii is modular. If you want to keep your case cleaner and only plug in the cables you need than get the modular power supply. If this does not matter to you, get the cheaper option. Both are very good units for the price.

Do you want modular cables or not? Personally I'll never buy non modular again so I would choose the M12 II just based on that.

In general yeah both Psu's are great as previously said, in general people prefer modularity for easier cable management but if you have a nice case too and you're running a silent build I'd chose the Silent version.
