Question Second Display no signal when using Displayport (HDMI works)

Trying to switch my second monitor's HDMI connection to displayport 1.4 (monitor supports 1.2 but should be backwards compatible). Monitor 1 is using displayport connection and when Monitor 2 using HDMI everything works nicely. When swapped Monitor 2 to Displayport Monitor 2 no signal. Unplugging monitor 1 allows monitor 2 to show, but when monitor 1 is plugged back in monitor 2 disappear
