Second GPU not detected

I have been trying to get my second gpu detected all day, and I don't know what I did wrong. When I start the computer it says USB Device not recognized, maybe just maybe that is the gpu. Any help would be awesome

Well, my motherboard is the Asrock extreme9 1155
Both of my gpus are GTX 680 EVGA FTW+

-card properly inserted?
-all power connections made?
-SLI bridge installed?
-drivers current?

These are the basic steps to check. From this point on, I would try to run each card individually and see if they both work.

Cards work and sli bridge is connected also properly inserted and the drivers are current power connections are made

both of the slots work. I'm using windows 7 64bit

Ok. Download GPU-Z and see if both cards are detected by it.

Sounds like you've got a dead card.
