Hi guys, hope i can get some help today on this. So i got a second "GTX 1060 6GB" (see below for specs) i mainly use my rig for work so i don't require all that SLI MAXIMUM GAMING FPS BRUH! BS.

Specs:
MOBO: GA B150-HD3
CPU: Core i5-6500 3.20Ghz - - - (Planning on getting a Core Core I7 i7-7700k)
RAM: (2x8) 16GB DDR4 2133Mhz
PSU: EVGA 850w BQ (Bronze)
SSD: WD 500GB (Windows 10 Pro)
HDD: Seagate 4TB
GPU: (x2) Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB 1771 MHz (1 Fan, 6Pin PCI)
Fan: CPU Stock Fan, 1 Case Fan. (x2) 1 GPU Fan
Case: Cooler Master CMP 102

So a little about my install. PSU included cables were mainly used, SATA & VGA 2 (Second GTX) plugged thru the extension cables, everything else done by the book.
Now, everything seems to be running smoothly but my second GPU does not seem to be working at all. (Don't know if i can check the BIOS for it). Also it's good to note i did a clean Install of Windows as soon as i got my second GPU and SSD. After that i tried DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) still nothing new aaand that's about all the PC knowledge i have.

Please guys, i hope you can help me fix this, i don't know what to do anymore and i'm kinda freaking out because i spent my very last penny on this Setup upgrade (Yes, I'm not as rich as some people around here so replacements are a no no for me)

Thanks you all in advance, you've saved my ass before and i'm hopeful you'll do it again. Also, my apologies for any grammar or terminology mistakes i've made, Again, i'm not the savviest in tech.

EDIT.001: I've tried both MSI Afterburner and Gigabyte's Xtreme Gaming something (2 overclocking apps basically) none detect the second GPU
Also i plan on using them mainly for rendering like Blender, Octane, Vray, Fluid & Particle simulations etc. Yes all those software can take advantage of cards individually

EDIT.002 / SOLUTION: Ok so my solution was a bit of mix between all the responses i got so i'll explain how i did it here!

I ran the DDU with (Remove & Shut Down) option.
Swapped the cards around, pretty much same set up as in my post up there.
Plugged a video cable on each card (HDMI 1st / Display Port 2nd)
Re-installed the Nvidia Drivers and Voila! 2 DISPLAYS WORKING PERFECTLY (So Far)**

Thank you so much to everyone that helped me out, didn't even have to wait 30min before i got solid advice!

PS. If any of y'all ever come to Mexico please hit me up for free food or drinks or whatever i can help with, you guys are literally gods to my eyes!

Have you tried installing an overclocking application like MSI Afterburner just to see if it will read both cards? Also can be more specific about the 2nd gtx 1060 not working? What do you want to do with the 2nd card?

I do not have much experience with 2 GPU setups, but the 2nd card usually does do anything in day to day processes unless you have a specific program that can be pointed towards the second card for things like altcoin mining or protein folding for charity.

Yeah sorry i forgot. I've tried both MSI Afterburner and Gigabyte's Xtreme Gaming something (2 overclocking apps basically) none detect the second GPU

First, look in windows device manager.
Look to see if it detects two display adapters.
If you see them, is there a yellow ! showing, that would indicate that you need to do a driver install.
Download the drivers for your os and do a clean install of the drivers.

Maybe it's an nVidia thing, or possibly because of the slot speeds? The support site (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-B150-HD3-rev-10#sp) & the manual (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-B150-HD3-rev-10#support-manual) only mention the board being able to support 2-way CrossFire (which is only for AMD GPUs), & also mention that the PCie x4 slot shares its bandwidth with the two x1 slots (& only operates in x1 mode if either of the 2 slots is in use).

Ok, so... Could you translate me that to English or even Spanish? Thanks

So, somehow that helped but let me explain.
I ran the DDU with the (Remove and shut down) option. Swapped the cards around, (this time i plugged a video Cable on each card) re-installed Nvidia and Voila the 2 cards seem to be running perfectly, I'll update some benchmarks later.

Thank you so goddamn much dude. Such a simple solution saved my entire day / weekend.... Hell, it saved my life!
