[SOLVED] Second hand PSU

Hi guys,

So recently someone put up an ad for a used Corsair CX450M for the equivalent of about 30USD. Prior to knowing this information I wanted to go purchase a CX550M costing about 80USD locally. According to the seller, the CX450M has been used for about 3 years now, and the warranty is still on for about 2 years approximately. I'm going for a budget build so 50USD is quite a big difference.

My question is:

1. Do you guys think its safe to purchase this second hand PSU?
2. Will the PSU be sufficient for my build:

i3-101000f
1650super

The cx450 can run that system.
Can you maybe check out the psu in person with tje seller,you know,before buying it?
Also still has warranty on it so thats a plus

Unfortunately, I can't see it in person because the seller is from another city. However I am purchasing the PSU from a trusted third party store in my country, so if anything about the PSU is unlike the seller's descriptions, I can get a refund. Here are the images the seller has posted, according to them the PSU is "like new."

Looks like its in good condition.If you can get a refund then thats amazing,i'd say go for it

According to the seller, the CX450M has been used for about 3 years now, and the warranty is still on for about 2 years approximately.

On their website Corsair clearly states :
"This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, except where prohibited by applicable local law."
