So I recently "repaired" my computer (where I got a new motherboard, CPU HDD, and OS) after breaking it (Via water boarding), and everything works perfectly fine, but I had a 3TB HDD I mostly used for game storage and I was wondering if I could either a) save all the games and get them to work on this PC or b) clear the hard drive so I can just simply re-install the games onto the HDD?

Hey there, Gamesmasher.

Well, there's a great chance that most of the games might still work if your platform's installation is still intact (Steam, Ubisoft, Origins, etc). However you might be missing some settings files and save game files, which some games write in a folder on the C: drive. Anyway, it's always better to get a fresh start (even though it would probably be a bit annoying reinstall all the games).

This is my advice - if the HDD is in a good condition, go ahead and reformat it so that you can start fresh.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
