Using a Windows 8.1 64-bit PC with NVidia Quadro K600 Display adapter.
I would like to have a second desktop of sorts as I do a lot of blueprint takeoffs which has me spinning around constantly to reach my primary work area for data entry.

My goal would be for a second Keyboard/ mouse and a 3rd monitor to be located at the print table for data entry from that location. I will be the only user of the system under a single account.

I'm thinking I may be able to just connect the keyboard/ mouse and as the K600 supports up to 4 displays that should not be an issue but wasn't sure if Windows accepted multiple inputs or if there was a better method.

Starting to wonder if I'm over thinking the whole thing now that I write it down

You are "looking" for a KVM (Keyboard, video, mouse) switch.

Permits you to operate multiple computers from one keyboard, one monitor, one mouse - but you can have multiple monitors.

Just Google "KVM Switches" - wide variety of products and choices available.

Sorry if I didn't clarify on the original post.
I want to use (2) keyboards and (2) mouse on a single PC. Essentially the opposite of what a KVM switch would do.
