Question second m.2

hi currently i have a 1tb wd blue and 250 gb plextor ssd and 512gb adata 8200pro m.2 on asus b450f gaming and r5 2600 cpu . i find out if i want to add another m.2 ssd this will demote my pcie x16_1 to x8 mode and will slow down my rog1080 gpu about 5% and according to my board manufactoror b450 has 3 pcie x16 slot can i add another m.2 without losing performance by changing gpu slot to pciex16_2 cuse in my region lexar nm610 1tb is equal to samsung qvo 860 1tb and i know even second m.2 has better performance than sata ssd.
