Hello

Im thinking to use Samsung SyncMaster E2220 monitor as my second monitor . This monitor has only VGA input . My graphic card has 2 DVI inputs . So im gonna plug my second monitor to motherboard VGA input .

I want to run twitch streams , youtube videos on my secondary monitor while im running my main programs ( office programs , adobe and sometimes long and intense Path of Exile sessions ) on primary monitor .

My concers are
is motherboard GPU enough for those things ?
if not then should i buy new monitor which has DVI input and plug it to the GPU ?
or should i buy VGA to DVI converter and plug Samsung SyncMaster E220 to the GPU ?

My system

Processor
-Intel Core i5 4460 3.2GHz 6MB Cache LGA 1150

GPU
-Galax GeForce GTX1050Ti EX OC 4GB 128Bit GDDR5

motherboard
-Asus H81M-K Intel H81 1600MHz DDR3 mATX

Memory / RAM
-Kingston DDR3 8GB HyperX Fury 1600MHz CL10

PSU
-High Power 500W ECO active PFC

SSD
-Adata SU800 128GB 560-520MB/s

Thank you

For twitch streams ( if it is not for streaming PC games), youtube, office programs, etc, the onboard iGPU should do the job, but I don't know for long and intense Path of Exile sessions. Sorry.

So you can try the onboard iGPU with VGA port, if it does not work well, either buy the adapter or new monitor.
Your gtx1050ti has the DVI-D, HMDI, and DP port. If you want to buy the adapter, you have to buy the expensive active DVI-D to VGA adapter, because the DVI-D can transmit the digital signal only, the VGA use analog signals. The regular DVI-to-VGA passive adapter will not work.
The DVI-D to VGA adapter will be something like that, you may find other online, make sure it is the active adapter. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812400402&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=vga_to_dvi-d_adapter-_-12-400-402-_-Product

so i should use both monitors on GPU . Which ports should i use my on primary and secondary monitors ? Im currently using the wider one on my primary monitor
