Question Second monitor is not detected

I bought an HDMI splitter and my second monitor is not detected or showing up as a separate monitor on the 'multiple displays' or 'advanced settings'. I've tried to do the project to extend and updating my drivers on the display adapters and made sure both my monitors are at 60hz. Is there a way to fix this?

splitter duplicate signal , you need to connec the 2nd montior to another port
