Question Second monitor issue

Recently my second monitor has stopped working with display port but hdmi works fine as its connected to another pc(plex). whats odd is that nvidia control panel and windows detects the monitor which is the Asus VG246QE and it does ding when i plug it in but does turn on the monitor to no signal. i have ruled out the cable as i have switched it and also switched the ports around. it doesnt work when its plugged in alone. i do not have a DP port on the plex pc motherboard so i cant test that or any other pc around. only thing i cant test to se if its the monitor. Seeing if theres some setting that got turned off or what?

Have you setup the monitor in Windows?

You mean tell windows to duplicate or extend? Then yes it does nothing now

to be honest i think something happened when i was using dxwind for an old game
