Got Lenovo ideapad 300 laptop, intel hd graphics 520 and AMD R5 M330, win10 and second display LG 22mk600. Connected through HDMI cable. Everything was working just fine, I could use second display with my laptop. But suddenly my second monitor is not working, it says "out of range". No matter what i do, cant fix this issue. I did disable/uninstall/reinstall drivers at least 50 times, wasted 1 entire week to fix that.
Yesterday i did something, like, I changed my second display resolution from 1920x1080 to 1024x768. Now currently its not showing any error. But i used to use my monitor with 1920x1080 resolution. how i can fix that now? 1024x768 in a 1080 screen seems disturbing ;-;
it will be great if someone helps. Thanks in advance 😊

Where are you getting the drivers? Are you installing manually or using some third party to do downloads/installations.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer. Either one or both may be logging some related error code, warning, or informational event.

thank you for replying. i used to install drivers from the official websites. I did install the drivers every time after uninstalling them in safe mode by DDU.

You will need to do some additional investigation and testing.

Double check the monitor's configuration menus. Ensure that the monitor is indeed configured for 1920 x 1080.

Any other known working (at 1920 x 1080) video cables to swap in?

Do you have another 1920 x 1080 monitor or TV to try?

Swap devices about and determine if the "low resolution" stays with the computer/GPU or follows the monitor/TV.

Key is to narrow down where the problem originates. Do so methodically and change only one thing at a time.

Hello.

"Out of range" normally means that the monitor cannot handle the Resolution or Refresh rate.

Your monitor; LG 22MK600M is designed to work at 1920x1080 resolution with the refresh rate of 56~75Hz
Check your refresh rate when you put the monitor on 1920x1080.

set it to 60Hz or lower and check the display.
it may be the problem.

GoodLuck
