Hey all,
I recently switched from a ASUS R9270X to a ASUS GTX770 and ever since, been having an issue where one of my two monitors will not come back on after my computer goes to sleep. It's not one or the other, but random. Sometimes its display 1, sometimes 2.
The only way to get it working again is by going into my display properties and hitting "detect" or restarting the computer.
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
GPU: ASUS GTX770
O/S: W8.1
I'm updated as far as I can be on the mobo; however it's obviously old and out of support at this point. Up to date on the latest nVidia drivers as well.
I just don't understand how swapping video cards would suddenly cause this. The only "fix" I've found thus far is to enable Link State Power Management under PCI Express (in power options); however this will cause the computer never to sleep.
Any thoughts on how to resolve?
