Hi all! Based on several benchmarks and reviews I made a new pc configuration. This new system will mainly be used for 1440p60 gaming. Need a second opinion about the selected parts. Is there something that I could do differently?

Solution

Thnx for the suggestion. Might I asked what is the reason for choosing the B360 motherboard (apart from the costs).

Thank you for the reply! Personally, I prefer intel rather than AMD, so I'll stick to the i5. However, the 1070ti is an interesting option. I have read quite a lot of reviews about 1070ti and 1080. At first I selected the 1070ti, but switched to the 1080, since the price differences are ±40e.

^ if it's 1080p 60/75hz gaming, both the 8400 and 2600 will achieve that at stock speeds. And if it's 144hz, both the 8400 and 2600 can't give you that.

If 144hz gaming is in your mind both the 9700k is supported with overclocking in the z370 and ryzen 2 7nm is supported in the B450. We can expect both of them to give a smooth 144hz experience.

Yes, mostly to accommodate 16gb of RAM which will be more beneficial for you, yet keeping the components of good quality standards. If you have more funds, you can get a better board.

AMD is not too far behind, but yes, Intel will give you better gaming results mostly... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyaqSAotL3w
