Hello, A computer repair shop where i live said my motherboard was shot. How can that happen when it was fine moving from one house to the other?
Is that normal?
Thanks

Did you ask the person to elaborate on what he meant by shot? Did it suffer a short(electrical), did it get damaged(broken PCB), did it just soak up moisture and say goodbye(humidity)?
Might want to list your specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

for a greater context to the issue.

Pictures of the motherboard(and system innards), also help.

Well it doesn't power on anymore. There's an orange light on the tower. I dont know what he meant by shot/fried.

Its an older HP Pavilion desktop. I don't understand how it can malfunction just by transferring it to another home ?

Thanks
