Second Opinions on My Parts Chosen

Hello, I am going to build a computer and I was wondering what all of your opinions were on these selections for a pc. The aim for this build is gaming, mainly bf4, crysis3, etc....
Here are the parts:
CPU: intel core i5 4670k

Ram: 8gb Corsair Vengeance
Graphics: My friend is giving me his gtx 580. I plan on using this until I get an AMD Radeon 7990
Storage: Western Digital Blue 1tb hd
Psu: Corsail 750M
Os: Windows 7

Let me know what your opinions are, any changes I should make, or if this is perfect. 😉

Looks like a pretty good system. If you are going to get a 7990 then you could consider getting a mATX case and motherboard, or even a mITX. The Bitfenix Prodigy is a very popular and good case, if you think you might end up moving your computer around occasionally then it's a good idea.
Consider getting an SSD, they are so much faster than a regular hard drive, you will see a noticeable difference. A 120GB Samsung 840 Evo can be picked up at Newegg for $100, which would fit your OS, programs, and maybe a few games.

Also, what RAM kit are you going to get? (Preferably a link to it)

Good stuff, one a case note, the HD 7990 is really hot and loud. It is currently priced @ $700. NVIDIA is releasing a GTX 780 ti on Nov 7, and if rumors are to believed, http://www.chiphell.com/thread-891408-1-1.html, it is performing just about 5-10% off the 7990 and even beating it. AMD R9 290X and GTX 780 @ 549$ and 499$ is a pretty good deal.

Thank you. My build would be mostly in one spot for its life. The reason I knocked the ssd out was because the price for the 7990 went up....but now that I think about it, I will be using my friends gtx 580 so I can fit an ssd in my budget. What are your opinions on the gtx 580?

They have looked like really good parts to look at. I will consider those. One reason I chose the 7990 is because on newegg it comes with 8 free games...that is not the factor i use to determine if i will buy the part or not, it is just a bonus. Even though the new AMD 290x I believe comes bundled with bf4 which I have not bought yet due to my system not being powerful enough.

The GTX 580 is a decent card, especially if you're getting if for free. If I were you I would look into benchmarks of it, and then if ti seemed to have good enough performance for you, then try it out in a system. Build it, and if you find it good enough to play at your resolution, keep it! If not, get a GTX 780 (I wouldn't go any lower - the 770 is getting closer to the GTX 580 in performance, so the upgrade wouldn't be as noticable.

I am going to use the gtx 580 until I have enough for a better gpu. I'm looking at the new and r9 290x or getting the 7990
