hey guys,

i have a macbook pro with a Samsung EVO 750gb SSD harddrive. I have two partitions, main partition is where the OSX (el capitan, 10.11.6) is running on and my second partition I used for samples and audio files for my music productions.

So yesterday i started my macbook after few months it was in sleep mode or switched off and now the second partition with all my music files is just empty...

Format of the partition is MS-DOS (Fat32), i opened the utitlity application within OSX but no success... unfortunately i also did only backups from the main partition...

Any idea what i could try to rescue my lost data ?

You don't specify which Samsung SSD you have but they are usually Self Encrypting so formatting the 2nd partition would have ruined any chance of recovery, not that you had a good chance to begin with, but you can try apps like PhotoRec and DiskDrill to be sure.
