Question Second SSD disappears on sleep

I recently added a second m.2 ssd to my system as backup storage. It's a WD Blue SN570 1TB. The problem I'm experiencing is that whenever I put my pc to sleep/shutdown and then boot back up, the ssd disappears from the system. When I restart the PC, the ssd returns. This has been going on for a couple weeks now and I haven't had any luck trying to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Swap slots and test.
