[SOLVED] Secondary Display for iMac 27" 2013 ?

Hi All
I would like to get a secondary display for my iMac 27" which is the 2013 model.I need it to be the same size (physically) so that it looks OK on the desktop.
Is there such a thing that can be purchased?
I definitely need it the screen to line up ie top and bottom of the visible area (not too concerned about the bottom bit as I can raise the new on on the stand I hope

So you're going to need a Mini-display port to(VGA or DVI or Dual link DVI) adapter to tether a secondary display.

Your Mac also has Thunderbolt ports on the rear which are good candidates for display output as well. If you have disposal funds, you can look here but I'd advise against buying that panel in 2022.
