i have Windows 10 home pc 7 years old. Configuration:

Intel DB75EN motherboard
1 TB Seagate internal SATA
1 TB seagate internal SATA
1 TB seagate external HDD USB 3.0
Intel core i5 processor 3450
16 GB RAM, .

i had only one 1TB Internal HDD sata drive and one external 1 TB SATA usb 3.0. i have connected external HDD with Quantem zero usb header front panel. Recently i have added new 1 TB SATA hdd into my pc. when transfer files from old hard disk to new one its disconnecting and reconnecting again and again. what may be the problem.

I saw some of my SATA power cables not working when i connected my secondary HDD into my PC.finally connected to one power cable.

is this time to change my SMPS? i think my power supply problem. Zebronics 500W is my SMPS.please help

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You should list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

include the age of the PSU and the version for your OS.

Zebronics 500W is my SMPS
That is not something I'd call a PSU due to it being dodgy.

CPU - intel core i5 3450 3.10 GHZ
motherboard - Intel DB75EN
RAM - 16 GB (two 8gb module)
HDD - 1tb internal drive (sata-seagate) , another 1 tb internal drive (sata - Seagate), 1 tb external drive Seagate usb 3.0
GPU - no (on board graphics only)
chassis - coolermaster
os - windows 10 pro 10.0.18363 build 18363

PSU - 7 years old (zebronics 500w)

Thanks for your reply
