Hi.

I bought a Seagate ST1000DM003 1TB for install steam games and storage data(movies, pictures, etc), my so is installed in ssd . My question is:

If i make partitions the games performance will be affected? or partitions will improve it? I mean the head will not have to search the entire disk.

What do you recommend?

I wouldn't partition the drive, you actually lose room doing that. I would keep it as one large drive and just make sure you defrag the SSD. I would also make sure you disable all the junk stuff from the SSD so it doesn't use it up faster. Put the page file and that junk on the HDD.
