Hello,
I have a Sanyo 46" HDTV as a secondary monitor attached by a 25" HDMI cable to a USB port on my MacBook. The brand of TV is unimportant. The very top line is seen fine on my 17" Mac screen, but it is entirely cut off when viewed on the Sanyo TV secondary monitor. How can I resolve this, to
me, serious problem? Anybody? Thank you.

Solution
Old thread, but... Are you mirroring your displays? Your TV probably has a lower native resolution than your Macbook, so if you choose to extend the display to the TV instead of mirroring it may fix the issue.
