Hello all,
Need help on suggesting a secondary storage option. I currently have a gigabyte x470 gaming 7 mobo with 2 m.2 slots available.

My first slot PCIe 3.0x4 is filled with a 1tb Samsung 970 evo.
My second slot PCIe 2.0x4 is what I have in question.
I realize the second slot is half the bandwidth of the first slot. I am still thinking and NVME drive as I can make use of speeds up to 1500mb/s. This drive will just be to store additional games that cannot fit on my main harddrive.
I am looking into the Intel 660p 1tb (95.00) and 2tb versions (195.00). This is the cheapest drive out there in terms of NVME m.2. Even standard sata 2tb drives i find are costing more than the 2tb version at least.
1tb satas I can find a bit cheaper in non nvme slots but again I want to take advantage of the m.2 and the 1500mb/s speeds of early gen nvmes. The curcial p1 and sabrent rocket are others I have looked at.
