[SOLVED] Secretlab SoftWeave 2022 Series Chair

Hello! I'm thinking of getting a secretlab softweave titan evo 2022 series chair. However, I'm hesitant because of the price. Is it just me or did the price for the 2020 series jump during COVID (I'm guessing because of availability issues)? If so, do you think I should wait for prices to go back down or if they even will? Thanks for any advice that you're able to provide!

there's more issues going on now than COVID.
trade with China has deteriorated after Trump's sanctions causing product and materials shortages,
lack of available transport ships and truck drivers,
inflation,
fuel prices, etc...

do you think I should wait for prices to go back down or if they even will?

who knows if prices on those types of commodities will ever go down.
they may drop over time, but i doubt we'd ever get back to anything pre-2020-21

it just looks like every other generic "gaming" chair i've seen.
maybe a bit less flashy but still faux leather and that goofy racing shape.
definitely not worth any where near to the $400-600 price ranges i'd seen.

i bought a very nice, comfortable, cloth, large Flash Furniture office chair for my computer desk a couple years ago for ~$175 and that same model even now goes for $350-500.
best chair i've ever used out of probably 100s of office & gaming chairs over 23 years of office work and home computing/gaming.
but i don't think i'd pay >$250 even for it.

just crazy how some prices have skyrocketed.
