Question Secure boot aorus gaming 5 no post

Just updated to win 11. Tried to play valorant, needed me to switch on secure boot.

Got the default platform key, rebooted back to bios, switched on secure boot. Then saved and exit.

After they, the computer does not boot, not even bios screen comes up. Fans do not even spin up.

When I turn the power on and off. The motherboard lights come on and off, but no Led system code on the motherboard.

Tried hard resetting by removing the CMOS battery, removing power and cycling power button to ensure residual power is used up. After 5 mins, put battery back and tried to boot.. Same issue. Motherboard Led flashed on and off when I turn the power on. When I press boot button, nothing happens.

Does it have Q Flash+
might need to flash newest BIOS onto board to get back in

Do you need to access bios screen for qflash to work, coz it's not paying at all

You have dual bios, should be a way to boot off backup bios to reset the settings on main bios.

actual cause of black screen is your boot method. You need to also change the drive from MBR to GPT before it will boot in secure mode, this post just told me that (I had wondered) - link

Ended up buying a new Mobo and CPU (z690 Gaming X)... this worked straight away, even when secure boot was switched on.

That one does have Q Flash + meaning you can flash bios with nothing more than a PSU attached, so if you were to ever have similar problem again, you should be able to just replace BIOS.
