Secure erase Toshiba SSD thnsnh128gcst

Toshiba does not provide any proprietary software to manage this SSD. I have this SSD and it has data on 3 partitions. I want to merge all these partitions and erase everything. And also leave 10% for over provisioning. There are no tools on the internet other than parted magic. I got the free version from majorgeeks. Any simpler solution? The best I could find is http://www.toshibastorage.com/SSDKit/ but it's for copying and cloning only i think

Parted Magic is pretty simple. Just burn it to a USB thumb drive (or CD), boot to the thumb drive, and once you get to the desktop, double-click the icon labeled "Erase Disk".

You probably know this already but a Secure Erase will restore any SSD to a blank, fresh-out-of-the-box condition. So backup any needed files before you SE the drive.

You can do it all from the command line in linux, but that can be painful if you don't know what you're doing.

Secure erase is still quite a niche command; few people need to erase a drive to the point where data absolutely cannot be recovered.

Parted Magic is Linux, but it has a desktop interface so you can just click icons instead of having to know any command line instructions.

Thanks everyone for posting here Yeah the data in the drive is not needed. I just quick formatted and merged the partitions but now i'll SE it as well. Do i need to SE it too?
