Secure Erasing Samsung 840 EVO

I am using Samsung magician to secure-erase my SSD, i created a boot disc and everything works fine. I get a message saying the ssd is in a "frozen state" and to replug and try again, and after that it starts to work and begins the process but turns an error. Application "SEGUI0.exe" (the boot disc) returned an exception: Page Fault... now i am at a bit of a loss and don't want to harm my SSD. Anyone know how to work around this?

I would try plugging it into another PC as an extra drive and use a program like CCleaner and run a 3 Pass Full Wipe

Or look into Boot and Nuke and make a startup disk and use that maybe.

I ended up just running it with new hardware and haven't had an issue so gonna leave it be for now
