I must have my settings on the camera right because i am getting critical warning mails from google about access. does it require a paid subscription to enforce less secure apps? it has the option to allow on re\gular gmail but the issue persists. Looks like im a freak magnet anymore and have weird people periodically showing up at my door, so email notifications are a must

sv3c 720p (or whatever) HDX cam series.

Solution
I would create another GMail user just for that, sending emails from your camera. This user will have "less secure" option ON, while you can keep full security on your mail account.
You should not require a "paid subscription" to receive emails at your Gmail account. Most likely, you just need to ensure that your Gmail access allows the type of authentication being used by your security cam.

Do you have your Gmail account configured to allow POP3/SMTP access?

those were all enabled i figured out that the enable less secure app setting didnt stick on my google profile, test success !! appreciate the input though and it did key me in to forwarding to office 365 so thats a plus

thats probably a decent solution, i did read about that as well, but i found that it was a mix of two settings, less secure apps enable(gmail) and alert settings(camera),choosing send email or send to ftp. Its working well at this point.
