Do you have both of them in active mode? if so, yes, it is overkill plus the system also has defender.
I have malwarebytes and superantispyware installed but not active monitoring mode, I use them to scan the system monthly.

As a general rule you should only be running 1 active anti-virus at a time. Keep any others turned off until needed for a suspected infection.
Why?
2 or more virus scanners will fight and eat up all of your system resources.
I've seen top tier computers brought to their knees until 1 of active virus scanners was removed.

I recommend you stick with the Malwarebytes and get rid of the other one.

Personally I use Malwarebytes for suspected infections and windows defender for minimal security.

Thank you both for your quick response.

Malwarebytes is paid up till Nov. for 3 systems. Super is due today. Should I buy or just work with MB?

If I have both I'll take your advice and shut one down.

Sorry to drag this out.
