Seeing other computers in the network

I have a network with some Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers. In File Explorer, I can only "see" the computer that I am using at the time. I can see and use the network printer. I can see the router.
There is 1 computer that, using Quick Access, sees the NAS and when I choose it, will add it to the Network in File Explorer.
I have rebooted the router 2x over the past week. BTW, the router shows all the computers and NAS devices.
What else can I try?

Do all computers have the same Workgroup name?

All are in the same workgroup. The network is private. None has homegroup set up. Interestingly, the laptop that joined the network via wi-fi can see all the other computers!

Sorry about taking so long to pick up the thread - Happy New Year! So since my last post I:
> restarted the router - which shows all the computers as connected devices with their IP address
> added a new device - a Blu Ray disk player that is part of my stereo system - it showed up in File explorer right away
> took a look at HomeGroup but decided not to go there (never had this issue with the LAN even though I do not use Homegroup)
So, since all devices show up on the router (and are ping-able BTW) (and they are in the same network (10.0.0.x) I am wondering about DNS ... think there is an issue there?
