Hello,
Im planning on upgrading my system in the near future and would love some feedback/suggestions.
Getting ready for Battlefield 3, and other DirectX11 games, looking to upgrade my system to handle those games at max/near max settings.
My current setup is a few years old now, and I don't feel it will live up to the BF3 challenge visual wise, and what I want to run it at.

My current system:
Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield @ 2.66gHz
ASRock X58 Extreme
Corsair 650W Enthusiast Series
6GB Kingston Hyper-X DDR3-2000 XMP
eVGA GTX 260
150GB WD Raptor 10K RPM
2TB 5400RPM (Storage for music/movies)

I think I need to replace CPU, vid card, and possibly memory/PSU.

Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

The cpu is still a great processor especially if you give it a nice oc.

To buy another intel cpu right now wouldn't exactly be your best choice.

I suggest waiting till the Ivy Bridge releases and buying the cpu then, the i7 920 is fine till then.

I would just suggest getting a new gpu

First of all, what resolution will you be playing at/how many monitors.

Do you expect to play bf3 at max settings?

1 monitor @ 1900x1200, and I would ultimately like to play at max/near max settings.
