1. What is your budget? 500-1000 €.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 13-14".
3. What screen resolution do you want? 1920x1080 or higher.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Portable.
5. How much battery life do you need? 6-8h is fine (as much as possible).
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? Occasionally, mainly PUBG, Diablo 4 or similar on medium is fine (just casual when traveling).
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.). Working, PhD thesis, lots of excel and databases. I don't need video or photo editing.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 512 GB SSD.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? 4-5 years.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? None.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. I have no specific preferences. Asus, Lenovo or similar are fine.
13. What country do you live in? Spain.
14. Please tell us any additional information if needed. I need the laptop mainly to work on my doctoral thesis and related projects, but when I travel away for several days, I would like to be able to spend some time on casual gaming (no need to play on high-ultra). I prioritize mobility and battery life, I don't mind playing a few hours a week with graphics on medium.
