Hi all,

Could you please recommend a PCIe 4.0 4K graphic card with display port?

1) for graphics editing, not for gaming
2) mid range price, not high end product

Thanks in advance.

For workstation use, i'd look towards Quadro/Radeon Pro.

Given that workstation GPUs go up to 10K or so, average price would be ~5K.
But if you look the average price based on consumer (gaming) GPUs, those go up to 1.7K, with average at ~800 bucks.

That being said, for ~1K, you can look at: PNY RTX A4500, which has 4x DP 1.4a output ports, is PCI-E 4.0 and has nice 20GB VRAM;

specs: https://www.pny.com/nvidia-rtx-a4500

But for ~5K, you can look towards at: PNY RTX A6000, 4x DP 1.4a ports, PCI-E 4.0, 48GB VRAM;
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HWt9TW/pny-rtx-a-series-rtx-a6000-48-gb-video-card-vcnrtxa6000-pb

Hi,

Thanks for your advice.

Those graphic cards are too expensive for my use.

My desktop PC, AMD 8-core CPU and 32G RAM onboard, is only connected to a 4K 30" Dell Display. Could you please suggest an economic card?

For ~500 bucks you can look at: RTX A2000, PCI-E 4.0, but it has mini-DP ports. Though, there are 2 variants, 6GB VRAM and 12GB VRAM,

specs: https://www.pny.com/nvidia-rtx-a2000

Even cheaper option, ~400 bucks, for PCI-E 4.0 would be Radeon Pro W5700. It too has mini-DP ports. It's 8GB VRAM card,
