I recently upgraded my video card to a MSI GTX 970 gaming. Now I'm looking to upgrade my monitor. Current using a 24" Asus 1080p. I want to go to a 27" and since I really know nothing about monitors I thought I would ask here. My budget would be about $500. I mostly just game and surf the internet. Favorite games are Mass Effect, Crisis, Far Cry and Start Craft 2. I have 2 questions:
1 - Is a $500 1440p with it over a 27" 1080p?
2 - Would upgrading from DVI to display port be with it?
