Please help out a new at RAM Purchasing.

I currently have the following in my desktop:

AMD RYZEN 3 1300X 4-Core 3.5 GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo) Socket AM4 65W YD130XBBAEBOX
ASUS Prime B350M-E AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Team Elite Plus 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Desktop Memory Model TPRD48G2133HC1501

Now, i would like to add an additional 8 GB of RAM and of course, Newegg and Amazon are out of stock of that ram stick.
The DO have the following Team Elite Plus 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200)

Can i add this? Or, if not, woulda better option be to add a similar ram DDR4 2133 (pc41700)?

Thanks for any and all help.

Solution
It should work, if I'm not mistaken, even though one stick is faster it should default to the lowest speed 2133 in this case. Anyways, the 100% best option is waiting for your original stick to become available, or buy a completely new kit, to my knowledge the cheapest 16gb kit on PCPP is $78.

Hei. To the best of my knowlege there should be no problem in thoery. You motherboard support both RAM Sticks but they do not work at the same MHz so i dont know if in practice you would get the full usage out of them. It is always best to buy duochannel sticks because they are ment to be together. But it is RAM and you could try it

Be awear that i just startet looking into computers so i might be mistaken but my guess might be better than yours

I do not know much about ram but if the faster speed ram was to work with the stick you already have then it would work at the lower speed but chances are it probably would not work and you would be better of buying a matched pair of the newer sticks even buying the same brand and model comes with no guarantee's.
