Question Seeking suggestions & guidance on upgrades to prepare for Vegas Grand Prix 2023

I currently own a mirrorless Canon EOS M10 with a 15-45 mm kit zoom lens. I am very pleased with the results that this camera provides but I want to be prepared to (video, pic) record an upcoming night time Formula One auto race in Las Vegas (Sep. 2023). I am considering buying a Canon EF-M 55-200 mm zoom lens but they are VERY EXPENSIVE. Any suggestions for me?

Maybe borrow or rent the lenses beforehand to test and try?

Not sure about the necessary timing but the event is 18 months away.

Plenty of time to experiment and learn what lenses will suit your requirements.

Just my thoughts on the matter.
