Question Seeking the groups approval or suggestions on my 2nd build.

Yes, exactly. It may be tempting to go for the cheaper drive, but you could be paying for it down the road in more ways than one. When it comes to storage, just like PSUs, it's always better to play it safe and stick with the known and proven brands, like Samsung, WD, Seagate, and so on.
It's what i did but i noticed in suggested builds by other members that some seemingly less reliable drives or other components were being suggested. So i read reviews and tried to learn more. One of those is the TeamGroup MP44/L drive. It's superior to a Crucial P3 or P3 Plus for example, which is a decent, budget pick for a secondary drive, and one of the best choices around that price point.
I even have a new P3, and i have nothing to say about it except i bought one and it's been no problem so far. :)

Yeah in my new build, I have an SK Hynix P4 Platinum (though I may replace it with a 990 Pro at some point), a Corsair 4TB, and a WD 850X, all have been pretty solid drives so far.
