Seeks NON DELL LCD

I have a DELL Ultra Sharp 20" LCD with which I am most satisfied. What other NON DELL LCD brands/models in the 19-20" size are comparable to the fine resolution and clarity that I receive with my DELL 2005FP?

1. There are no 19" LCDs which are comparable.

2. Your Dell has an LG.Philips S-IPS panel, which is thought by some to be "best in class". There are only a few comparable 20.1" models by other makers. Offhand, I can think of NEC LCD2070NX, and NEC LCD2090UXi. Other candidates with I recall having PVA or SPVA panels might be Samsung 204T and Planar PM2011.

It depends on your use. If you care more about response times than image quality, go for one of the fast TN panels, such as the BenQ FP93GX.

For general use, if you don't mind going WS, one of the best panels is the NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2, although, it's a bit on the expensive side.

The HP LP2065 also carries an S-IPS panel, like most Dells. The above 2 are pretty nice also.
