segate hd 500 gb is not detecting but the led blinks

my hd has gone really weird it works on only one tv usb slot (samsung) but not all samsung tv's only the one tv which i'm talking about it shows data and plays movies too .. but cant b accessed on any laptop ,pc's or other tv's
i used diff power cables , diff laptops, diff combinations but nothing works i just want the data inside which is around 50GB some one plz !!
the data is definitely there as i could watch movies on my t.v even nw

Hey R P Chowdary. This sounds pretty strange indeed. What do you mean by saying that it is not detected? Are you talking about Windows Explorer only? Have you tried opening Disk Manager and Device Management to see if it's detected there? Except for the led blinking, is there any indication that the drive is working e.g. vibrating, hearing it spin etc.? It might be some weird power issue as well. You could try if it is detected when connected to externally powered USB hub.
