select and boot from a proper boot device

since i do know a bit about tech this is a little embarrassing but i have windows 7 and it has been running well for a few days but while i was checking the inside and dusting the next time i booted i got this ''reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media and press any key'' and i checked on many sites and still get the same thing and was wondering if i could get some help.

i'm running a centurion cooler master
232gb hard drive
and the only thing it shows i can boot off of is 1st floppy disk and a flashdrive if i put one in.

check the connector on you hdd the system did not see it with the os then it could ot boot from .

The hdd is not shown the sata ports say not detected

check the cable if it is well fix in the slot or try another cable but dont forget to power off to switch the cable and it also need power from the psu .

No but it was working perfectly on tuesday
