Hi, after a few weeks of research, I've come up with a list of proposed parts for a new build. The budget is approximately $1450 (AUD), and all parts will be bought from MSY (a local Australian computer parts retailer). I'm aiming to be able to play high-end games such as Battlefield 3, along with the occasional bit of photo and video editing. Whilst I don't have any great plans to overclock in the near future, I would like the ability to expand (by perhaps adding an additional graphics card) if I need to in the future. I plan to run it on a 24" monitor (see below) at 1920x1080. Would you be able to give it a look over, and just confirm that it's all compatible, and the choices are reasonable? Thanks a heap.

So, here's the list:

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, $135
CPU: Intel i5-3570K, $227
Video Card: 3GB Radeon 7950, $325
Memory: G Skill Ares 1600 8GB, $43
Storage: Seagate SATA3 2TB, $97
SSD: Samsung 830 Series 128GB, $92
Power: Antec HCG-620, $93
Case: Coolermaster RC-692 USB3, $100
Monitor: 24” 2ms Asus VS248H, $188
Disc Drive: LG Blu-Ray Combo, $55
OS: Windows 7 or 8, $99
Total: $1454

Thanks again.
