[SOLVED] Selecting cooler for i5 11600

Hi all,

So, I recently set up a new pc with i5 11600 using the stock cooler. It seems that the temps I get idle is around 39C with 2200RPM but when I do even simple tasks the temps get high quickly as well as the fan noise. Which is something normal for this CPU (with xmp profile on 2666Mhz and turbo boost). So I was thinking buying a Dark Rock Slim which is a small and efficient cooler. Is this supported for the 1200 socket? Is there any better alternative for that money?

They are all supported on that platform.

For Intel locked CPUs any cooler is better than that stock one. Those stock coolers are horrible.
